Lily Bee meets EC

Epiphany Crafts is teaming up with Lily Bee this week and I had the wonderful opportunity to work with the Buttercup collection. Yellow, grey and aqua blue? Yes, please!

This is actually the first layout I've created for EC as a design team member. I've been so busy with jewelry and altered projects that I haven't scrapped with their fabulous product in awhile. I was craving a good 12x12, especially when I saw the Lily Bee sketch we were provided with:

I used the pennant tool for my layout, but not in the traditional banner way. I snipped the corners off of the flat part of the pennant and created chevron-like arrows to match the sketch. Now I know I can do arrows and pennants with this tool - love that!

This layout is all about my new toy, my Mother's Day present - a FujiFilm Instax 7S! I'm having fun working out the kinks and looking forward to scrapping more mini polaroids :).

Be sure to stop by the Epiphany Crafts blog to see what the talented team is up to. There are always goodies being given away, so it's really worth the click :). Have a great day! Tessa

Sketchy Thursdays

How are you today?  Hopefully well :).  It's Thursday, which means I have a layout to share inspired by the lovely Heidi of Sketchy Thursdays.

In case you were wondering, the count is now 7 for Elizabeth's senior portrait layouts.  "The JOURNEY is the reward" quotation is by SRM Stickers - I love their graduation sentiments!  This is a layout that I will give to Elizabeth.  I matted one of the photos on a library pocket that she can fill with her own journaling.

I had a request from a wedding planner for silk rosettes, and as I was playing with that delicious fabric, I made a couple of flowers for this page.

Here is the sketch:

I'm extra excited this week because the sponsor is Scrapbook Circle!  Lisa is giving away April's kit, Hello Sunshine.  I have this kit in hand and it is FABULOUS :).  You really want to play along this week!  You can find the challenge post here.

Have a great day! Tessa
