SPCC #17

I scrapped another senior portrait photo of my sister for the SPCC, challenge #17. When I saw this picture of her walking away, head turned to look back, I couldn't help but think about all of the wonderful opportunities ahead of her. My title, Enjoy the Journey, is my hope for her. Knowing her, she will have no problem achieving her goals and finding joy in life along the way.

Here's the color combo:

Here's my layout:

I had fun with a new mask I got by Heidi Swapp, Glimmer Mist, and masking tape. Notice the light blue lace flower in the corner, by none other than Precocious Paper :).

Thanks for looking! I'm off to enjoy the first snowfall of the season (and my first one here in Wyoming)! Tessa

  5. Hi Tessa - I couldn't find your email and wanted to say thanks for commenting on my M&M's layout! If you can find the costumes you should get them. My girls (even though they are teens) loved that year as M&Ms! Believe it or not when they were about 5 they were red & green M&Ms and I made an outfit for myself that was the brown bag of M&Ms. It was so cute especially at that age! They actually wore them last year for work (they work at a bagel store part-time) and everyone loved them too! Thanks again! Julie

  7. This is so beautiful!!!! Love the stitching. Gorgeous!!! Is this a 12x12 or smaller? Just that the stitches are so HUGE if it's 12x12!! Very cool.

  8. Thanks Heidi! It's a 12x12 and it's not stitching, but actually a trim with little loopy things on both sides. I love that it looks like stitching, though (especially since I don't sew)!
