Baby
If you know me, you know my favorite color combination is red and turquiose. When the challenge at My Mind's Eye called for us to use red in our layout, of course I thought of pairing it with my beloved blue. I found this gorgeous picture of my son, Carson, and followed the sketch by Anam Stubbington. All materials are My Mind's Eye except the ribbons, those little felt hearts, and the alphas.
I made the photo corner by hand (super easy - maybe I'll whip up a little tutorial soon). I punched and scrunched the hearts, and added the last of my treasured aqua pom pom trim. Carson thought this was a picture of the baby, Jaxon, but nope - it's him! They really are twins five years apart.
Thanks for looking! Check back tonight for the winner of my giveaway :). Tessa
