The Paper Variety has a sweet challenge for you this week - incorporate cupcakes!  Last year, for Carson's birthday, I asked him if he wanted me to bake a cake for his class.  He said, "No! I want cupcakes, with bright blue frosting!"  So cupcakes it was, with bright blue, mouth-staining frosting.

I couldn't find any bright blue cupcakes in my stash, so I made my own.  I used a Pink Paislee stamp, an aqua Copic marker (I colored in circles to create a swirl effect), brown chalk, and red Stickles to recreate Carson's cupcakes.

I added some blue sequins for a little birthday confetti.  I began my title with an SRM Sticker (eat cake) and made a border at the bottom with more SRM goodness.  Carson loves the way it turned out, and I do, too!
