More Senior Portraits...

I was SO excited to see that SRM Stickers was sponsoring Sketchy Thursdays this week!  Whoo hoo!  I've been a fan of both for a long time, and now being on their design teams, I feel blessed to work with them, too!  For my layout, I scrapped more senior portraits of my sister Elizabeth:

When it comes to photo quantity and size, I usually follow the sketches pretty closely, but this time I opted for one 4x6 photo to take the place of two photo spots in this fabulous sketch:

I used SRM Stickers from their Graduation-themed sheets, including my title, the quotation on the right, and the little diploma next to the quote.

I hope to see you playing along this week.  Afterall, the prize is a fantastic assortment of SRM goodness :).  Find all the details here.

If you have a chance, I have a new challenge posted at Scrapbook Circle today.  And guess what?!  We are opening up the challenges to EVERYONE, subscriber or not!  So please, join in to win an armful of beautiful Elle's Studio goodies.  Here's my sample layout, featuring the March Vintage Market kit:

You can find the details here.  Thanks for stopping by today! Tessa

To B or not to B?

My love for yellow is spreading from scrapbooking and clothes to my home decor.  And happily, my boys don't mind.  As a project girl at The Studio, I have a new post up today.  Come see how I transformed this...

...into this...

...to match my new decor.

And I wanted to say thank you for all the well-wishes!  I am still pinching myself about being a part of the new GCD Studios design team - I cannot believe it!  I applied with the hope that being on the DT would bring access to some of my scrappy goals, and I'm telling you, I feel SO blessed to be heading that way.  Thank you for celebrating with me :).

Have a wonderful day! Tessa

My happy news :)

It's been quiet around here this week, hasn't it?  Want to know why?  I've had a secret.  But now, that secret is outta the bag and I don't have to worry about giving anything away :).

My happy news :).

Have a wonderful day! Tessa

Designer Friday

I'm a little bit teary because, as the current design team term comes to an end, today is the last Designer Friday for Windy and Suzy.  I hope you will take a moment to leave them some love for all of their beautiful and inspiring creations over the past six months.

Windy created a set of gorgeous cards using the new GCD line, Funhouse, and two items coming to the shop during the upcoming update: Light Gold and Coral Satin Blossoms:

Windy said the cards were easy to make, but "stunners" because of the flowers :).  Thanks, Windy :).  I love how lined up in a row the flowers add texture and elegance.

Suzy created a really fun layout with Cupcake Poppies in blue and red.  Mixed with the Block Party line by BoBunny, the poppies look like they were made for this collection:

And for a special treat, I have a guest joining the line-up today!  Tabitha Gibson from Georgia created a beautiful wall-hanging and altered frame for her daughter's room with the February sampler (sold out) and a set of custom Yo-Yo Posies:

Sigh....I need a girl :).  Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful projects, Tabitha, and thank you Windy and Suzy for being amazing design team members!  I am grateful to all of you for your support of Precocious Paper.

If you're interested in joining the next team, see the call details here.  Have a wonderful Friday! Tessa

Sketchy Thursdays and Scrapbook Circle

Hello!  If you've been by the Sketchy Thursdays blog today, you may have noticed that I don't have a layout to share.  While dealing with some family things, time escaped me and I just couldn't get my layout done :(.  It's a real shame because the sketch this week is awesome!  It's a double-pager, and whether you go for a two-page spread or interpret the sketch as a single page, it's a really good one.

The prize is pretty amazing, too!  Raspberry Road Designs is giving away a fabulous digi kit, full to the brim with beautiful papers, embellishments, accents, etc.  I'm not a digi scrapper, but I was scheming to do something hybrid by printing and cutting out elements.

If you haven't been by the Sketchy Thursdays blog, please take a peek.  The design team did a fabulous job!  And after your visit there, please stop by the Scrapbook Circle blog today.  I'm sharing this layout:

I LOVE my son's teacher - she is so full of energy and life and patience and enthusiasm for learning.  She's just perfect for my Colten :).  I used the new March kit, Vintage Marketplace.  This kit is gorgeous!  If you aren't a subscriber, there's no time like now!

Have a wonderful Thursday! Tessa

I card I hope I won't need...

Today's challenge at The Paper Variety is to create something with a "Get Well Soon" theme.

I pulled out the new faith-based, inspirational stickers from SRM and decided on the sentiment "Sending Prayers".  If there is only one thing I am learning in life, it is that prayer is needed all. the. time.  Every situation warrants prayer, whether it be to ask for blessings or to give thanks.  I figured that a card that says "Sending Prayers" is a good one to have on hand for all kinds of hurts, physical and otherwise.

Play along at The Paper Variety this week and you could win this gorgeous Sophia Kit from Close to My Heart demonstrator, Dana:

I hope you'll join us!  Have a great day! Tessa

P.S. - I've got a bounce in my step today because of this.  So excited :).
